September/October 2025 Tryouts for 2026 Travel Baseball Teams
Syosset Little League is pleased to announce that we will be holding 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U and 11U travel baseball tryouts for the 2026 season!
TRAVEL TEAM ELIGIBILITY:
Your child must register and play in the Syosset Little League Intramural Baseball program to play for a Syosset travel team.
Team formation will be based on each player's tryout evaluation scores, game/practice performance from prior season(s), feedback from coaches in the intramural/travel program, and an assessment of the players commitment to baseball and the program. The travel program is for highly committed players looking to play at a competitive level alongside other club and town travel teams. Roster size per team is generally limited to 10-12 players, with the final roster count at the manager’s discretion.
Please register in advance - we will not be accepting any walk-up or late registrations.

7U team consists of players born between the following dates: May 1, 2018-April 30, 2019.
7U Tryouts will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 5-7pm at Syosset Woodbury Park.
7U Registration closes 10/3/25.
8U team consists of players born between the following dates: May 1, 2017-April 30, 2018.
8U Tryouts will be held on Friday, October 3rd, 2025 from 5:30-7:30pm at Syosset Woodbury Park.
8U Registration closes 10/1/25.
9U team consists of players born between the following dates: May 1, 2016-April 30, 2017.
9U Tryouts will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 5:30-8:30pm at Syosset Woodbury Park.
9U Registration closes 10/15/25.
10U team consists of players born between the following dates: May 1, 2015-April 30, 2016.
10U Tryouts will be held September 29, 2025 from 5-7pm at Syosset Woodbury Park.
11U team consists of players born between the following dates: May 1, 2014-April 30, 2015.
11U Tryouts will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 from 5:30-7:30pm.
11U Registration closes 10/16/25.
Once your player is registered, we will follow-up with a specific time slot for your player's tryout.

New Registration Platform
Little League International requires all little leagues to use a central registration platform moving forward so this and all future registrations will occur on our new platform.

Once you create your family account and add your children you can then click the link below to register for Travel Baseball Tryouts. You will only see regitsration available for your player's age-appropriate division.
Syosset Travel Baseball Tryout Registration
There are some questions that are required to be answered by Little League so please do your best and there are also a few questions that refer to filling out and uploading forms. You do not need to fill out school/address verification forms or upload birth certificates for this registration.
Team rosters will be announced in late October 2025 for the Spring 2026 season and beyond, which will begin with coach scheduled “Winter workouts”. Although we understand, and encourage, kids to have a variety of activities including other sports, training playing on a travel team comes with the expectation that your team's games and training will be made a priority over other activities.
